These are just some of the images in the display for lovers of beautiful flowers at GALLERY 40 on 9 Piper St during Saturday and Sunday, 30 and 31 of May and Sunday and Monday, 7 and 8 June. Margaret has arranged an exhibition of some of her own photographs of varied flowers: roses, waterlilies, magnolias, blossom, orchids and other exotic blooms. As well as individual framed prints there are “drops” displaying groups of seven prints of varied groups of flowers – and hand-made cards in the popular traditional small sizes. If you are looking for an individual ‘special occasion” card Margaret has made beautiful larger cards often featuring collages of flowers on special card. These could be gifts in their own right or be framed to be more permanent. Finally there are also some of Margaret’s glass pieces: the pendants have been very popular while other pieces are “glitter” or useful as well as decorative.
